I graduated from Bigfork High School and felt I was fully prepared for college at St. Cloud State as well as Bemidji State University. I was on the A honor roll continuously in high school and the Dean s list in college. The teachers got to know their students - cared about them and truly wanted to help us succeed in life. I am friends w/ all of my high school teachers on Facebook (those that are on there) and I enjoy keeping in touch with them through the years. Bigfork was a great town to grow up in and has a great school that prepared me for "the real world"! My parents also took an active roll in raising me - teaching me at home knowing that their number one job was raising my sister and I. A fact that I believe today's parents are lacking. They expect teachers to raise their kids teach them social skills behavior skills AND educate them!
