I have phobia for swimming. I don’ know how to swim, I’m so afraid to try. – Sorry I do not need one!

My question is….where in the world do people work to afford these kind of houses?? What am I missing?? Somebody give me the secret…..How do you afford these homes? What kinds of jobs????

It seems like people with money have no common sense, while people with common sense have no money. What’s up with that?

Fantastic! I love it, I wish to own one

Figures this would spark a debate over wealth. To those begrudging the owners of these houses — admit it, you’d love to live that lifestyle, and nobody here would turn down the chance. On the other hand, to those of you saying they “worked really hard” in order to become this wealthy — 99% of wealth is pure chance. Let’s not pretend that any of these homeowners got that wealthy from “hard work”. I’m one of the hardest workers you’ll ever meet, but nobody’s ever come to me and said, “wow, you’re such a dedicated employee, we’re going to promote you to CEO!” Still, it would be nice to be that lucky, and you can’t hate on anyone for enjoying their good fortune. Give me a Mega Millions jackpot, and I’ll be sipping Cristal, surrounded by supermodels in my indoor swimming pool before you can say “unnecessary opulence”.

Curious for those in real estate circles…if you have a wonderful indoor pool – is that a detriment? In other words, would that pool prevent a sale and be removed? Have a friend in that situation and he is removing a pool with water slide because he believes “no one will buy a house with a pool” (even though he did). Thoughts???

Just felt this little family motto might provide a tad of insight for those of you folks who feel bad for the mom needing dentures and a couple who took out a loan they knew they should not; lest we forget, that person who felt bad for the begger in the street. “IF God had not meant for there to be poor people in this world he would have made rich people more generous.” One more thought, have you considered in your itsy bitsy limited ability to think that some of us employ poorer folk, providing opportunities, if they choose to take advantage of them? Some of us work darn hard to maintain places of employment for folks, we work long hours yet enjoy the benefits of what we’ve EARNED-so suck eggs!

It would be utterly fantastic to own a house w/an indoor pool in it!!! My sister-in-law had one once, in KY, and whle it was awesome, it was nowhere as awe-inspiring as the ones pictured. The town where I
grew up had a lap pool between the living room and the den, in the hallway; I only heard about it, never saw it. I can only imagine the upkeep on an indoor pool. May I say “Congratulations” to all those
lucky enough to have the money to have a house large enough to house an indoor pool? Yes, I feel that luck plays a LARGE part in this, and not just hard work. It’s as those people were born with a silver spoon in their mouths. But to the rest of us, just keep plugging away…. Hopefully, our day will come!
