Zillow API Forum
In July, we announced our Open API, due for launch later this fall. More than 200 developers have been granted early access to the interfaces and their Zestimates, graphs and property information. A bunch of people have already built some cool stuff.
Today, we launched a space for this developer community to collaborate with each other and discuss the features of the API and their implementations. If you’re an API developer, please visit or bookmark the Zillow API Forum. If you register on the forum you can subscribe to e-mail updates by using the “Watch” feature on particular topics that interest you. For those who use a blog aggregator, you can get RSS updates by using the RSS sign-up page.
Zillow.com developers will stop by every now and then but this is primarily your resource. It is also a great place to let us know about features you’d like to have added to the API and to showcase your own implementations. The blog team will be watching the API forum for new and useful integrations and will let our readers know as and when they launch.
Lastly, if you’re a developer and want “in” on the API action, please review our Terms of Use, fill out this form and we’ll get back in touch with you if your proposed implementation fits the profile.
Update: You can now access the API forum here.
