Shaq, Martha or Nicky for your next home?

Earlier this year, Martha Stewart garnered a ton of press with the rollout of her Martha Stewart-branded homes and communities with KB Homes in North Carolina and Georgia.

Now it seems many celebrities are hopping on the branded-residence bandwagon.  Inman News (subscription req.) and Forbes.com both have published stories in the past few weeks on the increasing number of celebrities who are lending their names (and sometimes their fortunes) to housing and condominum projects.

Shaquille O’Neal and Nicky Hilton are both building condos in Miami (will Shaq build high ceilings befitting of his 7’1" frame?).  Newly-retired Andre Agassi and wife Steffi Graf are developing time-share properties.  And Mick’s daughter Jade Jagger is designing a 12-story Manhattan condo building.
