Octuplet Mom Facing Foreclosure–and Shopping For New $1.24M Home
Nadya Suleman (“Octo-Mom”) may soon be out on the streets with her 14 kids. According to TMZ and Reuters, the home she is currently sharing with her mother could go on the auction block because the mortgage hasn’t been paid in 10 months.
Nadya, 33, has been making headlines and raising eyebrows since the birth of her octuplets (conceived through in vitro fertilization) on January 26. During an interview with the Today show, Nayda admitted that she is currently jobless, living on food stamps, and collecting disability checks. But, she intends to use student loans “temporarily” to pay for her family’s care.
The latest scene in this emerging drama is the rumor that Octo-Mom is house hunting for a $1.24 million home in Whittier, CA. How’s she going to foot that bill? Her church has expressed a desire to help out, but there is no confirmation that this is the home they’ve selected.
