Octo-Mom Buys a New Home

According to PEOPLE Magazine, Octuplet-mom Nadya Suleman has bought a new, and much bigger, home to house her 14 children.

The listing for 2051 Madonna Ln, La Habra, CA cites 2,583 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and “room for a pool.” It is still listed for sale at $564,900, although PEOPLE says the sale is set to close later this week.

No word on the status of Suleman’s current home, which she shares with her parents. Multiple media sources reported two weeks ago that this home was facing foreclosure.

In other news about Suleman, ABC News ran an article yesterday with the headline “Octo-Mom’s Publicist Quits; Calls Her ‘Nuts.’ ” Apparently, it’s the second time a publicist representing Suleman called it quits.

Um…where to begin? This is the classic example of staring at a car accident on the freeway, even though we should all look away and keep driving. This woman is totally clueless and the fact that she is even purchasing a home while jobless is *to me* infuriating! People work too hard to be homeowners and of course she can buy a new house for her new brood. For as many people out there that hate this woman, there’s enough nutjobs that still take pity on her and have donated to her website no doubt which is likely what’s funding this catastrophe.

I am very happy to hear that she is getting a bigger house for her and her children. Everybody is giving her such a hard time. But they do not realize she is not the only women with 14 kids. She is the only women that had 8 of them all at once. there are a lot of mothers out there with 14plus kids and yes some receiving aide. From what I heard having alot of kids was the norm back in the days. My grandfather was from a family of 10 kids big Italian family. I only have two.

We’ve seen enough of this drain on society. She brought this on herself so she needs to take care of it herself. She already had 6 children and had no business having 8 more with no means of support. Too bad the children will be the ones suffering here.
She was only doing this for the money that has been paid to her for the pics, story exclusives, etc.
I think she wanted an offer such as Jon & Kate plus 8 had, but she doesn’t even measure up to Kate. Get her off of your site. You will make alot of people happy is you do so.

Good going for the mom of 14 children. I for one am happy for this new mother. The house needs to be bigger, but this is a start. I hope her mom and dad will stand by her. She is
their daughter and those are their grandchildren. This
lady deserves the best she can get. She deserves the help
she will be getting with her children for round the clock
care. She is one of God’s children and an American. I think
she loves her children and wants the best for them no matter
what the out-spoken others have to say about it. The media
needs to leave her alone now and let her live her life. If
you can’t give her a kind word or helping hand then leave her
alone to live in peace. I hope others who have the means and
money will step up to help this mother of 14. If she needs
conselling to be a better person and mother then I hope she
gets that help in a good way. She needs love and support not

Susan … you want us to step up to help her because … what? Do you have any clue how many of us other Americans are out of work or underemployed right now? For someone with no means of supporting herself to bring EIGHT MORE children into this world on top of the ORIGINAL SIX is nothing short of selfish. It’s all “me, me, me — look at ME!!” with this woman. And, another thing, no one can adequately look after and care for that many tiny human beings alone which is why daycare facilities require helpers and assistants after a certain number are enrolled … and that number is less than 14! Not to mention many of these are special needs kids. Geeeez. She was already spread too thin on the first six, this is ridiculous. And, yes, the government (aka: US) will have to cover the expense for the nannies and the helpers and the food and the living expenses, and the …… (fill in the blank, the list goes on and on!) Get a grip, Susan.

I like where Denise is headed. We should strive to educate members of our community about birth control or abstinence (pending moral beliefs). I am sick of seeing mothers with too many children. The families obviously don’t have the money to support a family that size and the kids are completely out of control. I am not here to baby sit. Teach them not to run into me or allow me to discipline them for you. Oh… sorry. I am sick of this story also.

Unbelieveable !! There are serious mental issues with Nadya Suleman …. I cannot believe she is allowed to keep and care for her children . She cannot support them , house them, or feed them or pay for the medical care. She has NOT put the children first , by any means. She needs professional help. Bless those children , and that placing them in homes that can give them all that they need would be the first step in what should be done .

This story encompasses so many things wrong with our society and country. Lazy single mothers sponging off the government and taxpayers. Single mothers who don’t see the value in raising their kids within a two parent family. Neglectful mothers who put their own wants and needs ahead of their children. Individuals who profit from their own misdeeds. Mothers that continue to produce special needs kids in spite of a family history and then feel entitled to the government assistance to fund their choices. Dysfunctional families that enable their adult children to make these kind of choices. A country and media that is so fascinated with this garbage that they are willing to pay whatever it takes to get details. Idiots that feel sorry for and/or are sexually attracted to this single mother and feel obligated to help her financially (for the sake of the children/or because they think she’s hot). I can’t think of another country on earth that would tolerate much less reward this kind of behaviour. I’m seriously considering leaving this country when I retire.

I have 4 children. I do not work because I can not afford to put them in daycare. I come to zillow weekly and watch the value of my home completely spiral. I am not on any government programs. My husband works 12 hour days to keep our mortgage current and food on our table. What this mutant mother of 14 has done is come in my home and take money out of my pocket. She keeps saying whats done is done. But that is not the case. She has and will continue to put the burden on the hard working taxpayers for the remainder of her pathetic life. The only solution to this problem is to adopt out these poor babies to those that can better take care of them.

There are people in this state and all over the country who have lost their jobs, homes, 401K’s and everything they had. They are living under bridges and in cars. Many are taking their own lives as they feel there is no way out of their dilemma. Perhaps those people should do what this woman did and have everything given to them for FREE! Never have to get up and go to work at the crack of dawn and not come home until after dark each day, have someone else raise your 14 kids, have your father buy a house for you, and make a lot of money off the entire deal. I watch an interview with otcomom. she said she wanted to clear up the rumor that her dad bought the house. she said she is renting it with the opition to buy. the owners are caring the loan for the house. so which means that this waiting for all this money for interviews and pictures to come in. and yes i wish this whole thing would go away. she needs to adopt these babys out to good homes.

WE are the ones paying for her welfare and her needs. She is a big time government sufficient.

And to the people who say she needs a bigger home for those 14 kids, they can always share a room. PLUS it’s not like she bought the house with her own money. Her father bought it for her. It was a gift.

I think 4 bedrooms is still not enough for her family with 14 children. But as of they are still little it is fine and when they just grow up I think they’ll need to find a much bigger house.

People, Please pray for Octomom and her children. I’m praying that the church she mentioned on Oprah will provide some volunteer babysitters. This may give her the chance to save some money and have a loving support team . Once she gets to fill that void with the Love of Jesus….and regroup….possibilities and miracles will happen! Nadiya, not only will u get to keep your house , allot of doors will open for you. Keep the FAITH!!!!……IN MY PRAYERS ALWAYS!!!!!
