Hefner’s ‘Other’ Home Next to Playboy Mansion for Sale

The home next to the Playboy Mansion at 500 S Mapleton Dr, Los Angeles, CA,  is owned by none other than the Playboy king himself, Hugh Hefner, and his wife, Kimberley (Playboy’s Playmate of the Month in January 1988 and Playmate of the Year in 1989, in case anyone is keeping track).

According to public records, the Hefner’s bought the house in July 1996 for $6.7 million. It is now for sale, according to Newsday. For some Playboy wannabe or voyeur who would love to see the comings and goings of celebs and friends in and out of the Playboy mansion, you can have a prime seat for a mere $27,995,000. That is the price of the 500 S Mapleton Drive home, being listed by Stacy Gottula and Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Previews International.
