Welcome, Chris Jones!

Please join me in welcoming Chris Jones as our newest author on Mortgages Unzipped.  Chris is a branch manager at City 1st Mortgage Services.  He came to the mortgage world in 2002 after a long career in politics and stockbrokering.  He publishes The Chris Jones Group mortgage blog, and he also writes a column for the Daily Herald newspaper. 

Chris is a fanatic about community, especially local business, an evangelist for social media (you can find him on LinkedIn and on Twitter), and he loves a good book.  He grew up in Virginia and has lived in Seattle and Budapest, but Lehi, Utah, is his home now.  Chris and his wife Jeanette live there with their 8 children (not a typo), two cats, and umteen chickens.
