Embed Any Chart From Zillow Local Pages

Have you looked at the incredibly deep data on Zillow’s revamped Local Pages? If you haven’t yet, I’d highly encourage you to do so. Using Seattle data, here’s a sampling of what you can see:

… and tons more

Embed home value data

Now, you can embed any of those metrics comparing ZIP codes, neighborhoods, or even MSAs on your own Web site with some simple embed code! And yes — all of this is free to use on your site (remember: content is king).

How to find local data and embed it:

1. Click on Local Info tab.

2. Type in your location (city, state) or use the breadcrumb dropdown.

3. Then start choosing home values data you want to compare.

4. Once you get the data set you want, just click the “Embed button” (below)

5. Clicking on the new “embed” button will bring up a pop up that looks like this:

We tried to build in as much flexibility as possible, so the following embed sizes are available: Small: 180×300, Medium: 300×310, or Large: 450×340.

6. Simply choose the size you’d like, and then copy and paste the embed code into your blog or Web site. By the way, the data in the embeddable charts will always stay current on your site. Embedding a chart today showing the median sales price for Seattle, WA, will stay current as we update our real estate market reports (we just released our data for July today).

Have at it – embed away!
