Report: LaToya Jackson in Foreclosure in Las Vegas

Foreclosures are still a problem in Las Vegas, and one of those foreclosures is now allegedly LaToya Jackson’s problem.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports, “A Las Vegas condo she purchased in 1996 for about $260,000 is in default with an unpaid balance of $750,000, according to documents filed in the Clark County recorder’s office.”

The condo is 1,856 square feet and occupies the 27th floor unit at Regency Towers inside the Las Vegas Country Club and Jackson was seen moving possessions out of the Towers before it went to public auction August 31.

Seems she has had trouble paying for the condo for a number of years. The Review-Journal continues, “A number of liens were placed against the condo over the years, some for delinquent homeowner fees, according to documents in the recorder’s office. In March 2006, she was sent a notice of default for $7,500 owed on the residence.”

Here are some examples of Regency Tower homes for sale on Zillow.

It was LaToya who first made claims that her brother, Michael, was murdered and while it wasn’t murder, his death was ruled a homicide.
