LaToya will now join many other african americans in an apartment complex … and parking her Bentley under a carport.

I feel sorry for La Toya Jackson. Maybe there are other issues behind the foreclosure that we are not aware of. Lots of people lose their homes including people who have money. Sometimes they have other investments that went sour. Even MJ had money issues from business dealings. It’s not nice to gloat over other peoples misfortunes. Remember people who live in glass houses shouldn’t blah blah blah…

Latoya has simply lived beyond her means. This is a “bought lesson” for her.

Wow she paid $260k and owes $750K, looks like it was a Money Maker for her. She took out almost $500K and probably won’t pay it back. YUP, that’s how we got into this mess, don’t feel sorry for her, Ask where do the $500K go????

I don’t understand why her sister, Janet, doesn’t bail her out. Janet is worth a few bucks. Millions!

And a couple of years ago, one of the Jackson brothers was reported to be working at a San Diego grocery store. Janet isn’t bailing him out, either.

If anything, LaToya’s income should be rising in the future. Michael’s death has increased her media and public exposure. She was a co-host on the View for a couple of days. Barbara Walter’s interviewed her for a prime-time special. That show alone should have been a hefty six-figure paycheck.

The entire Jackson family is dysfunctional. Joe Jackson apparently caused a lot of grief for his children. And yet the children continue to defend him.

The psychiatry bills for the entire family must be staggering.

All these homes going into foreclosure just isn’t right. No surprise celebrity homes are going into foreclosure though, as they often over spend and mis-manage their finances.

Too bad.

I liked the comment that people should focus on the spiritual side of life, especially in hard times, because I think that spirituality is very real.

I am sorry to hear of LaToya’s trouble. This story is another stark reminder that, whatever the cause, the shiny things of life that we so highly prize really are not what we think that they are worth.
