Hollywood Hills Celeb “Tree House” Listed for $3,695,000

Once owned by comedian/talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and later, by the late actor Heath Ledger, it’s known just as the “Tree House” and it’s for sale for $3,695,000, $3,495,000 (reduced Feb, 26, 2010).

Located in Hollywood Hills, it’s a cozy, private two-bed, two-bath hideaway that was sold in June 2008 for $2.5 million. The listing description says:

Celeb Sanctuary. Very special Shangri-La remodel with exceptional privacy. Stunning forest-like view from tremendous deck with amazing outdoor screening room and other areas of added living space. So close to everything yet feels as though you are on an enchanting zen retreat. Handsomely redone kitchen and baths. Certainly worthy of its “star” history.

This is a unique house. It is called “Tree House”, how unique and interesting. I think its really cozy because I saw the pictures like it’s not too big compare to some house that cost equivalent to almost 3.7 Million dollars of house.

This is a great house it was small but it was so elegant and cozy.The name of the house is so unique it was called a tree house but when you enter the house you will be amazed when you see thee interior of the house

Although small, but the ambience is so great, with trees surrounds you, i like it. but overpriced yet only rich men could buy it.

i dont know how americans count their dollars but that is good catch.I will do some renovations in that house if i were to buy it and conduct a blessing so that Heath Ledger wont be visiting me when i’m at a deep slumber.LOL!

I think its lovely, as long as it’s propped up well and wont fall down the mountain side! I know my kids tree house is not somewhere i’d like to live
