Chad’s “Million Dollar Listing” House Takes Another Price Hit; Madison Gets Malibu Listing

Chad, Josh and Madison. If you’re a regular watcher of Bravo TV’s “Million Dollar Listing,” you’ll know these guys are the hip and cool California Realtors on cable,  slinging real estate deals for millions in pricey L.A. neighborhoods such as Beverly Hills, Malibu and Hollywood.

While the three have made it look easy in the past, this recent season was somewhat painful to watch. All three had struggles with a slow-moving market, with houses taking price cuts and concessions being made. But, that’s life in real estate.

Recently, the Orange County Register’s blog, “Lansner on Real Estate” reported that a home listed by Million Dollar Lister Chad Rogers (pictured left) at 2717 Shell St., Corona del Mar, CA 92625, has been reduced in price by 32 percent since its original listing price of $9.5 million back in December of 2008. It’s now listed for $6,495,000. Wow. That is painful.

Lansner reports that “.. remodeling, $30,000 worth of home staging, a $2,000 brokers’ open/champagne bash, and a big cake decorated with an image of the house and celebrity Realtor Chad Rogers” was thrown at this house and still… nothing.

Madison Hildebrand’s Malibu Listing

Meanwhile, Chad’s fellow Million-Dollar Lister, Madison Hildebrand (pictured left), just recently listed a gorgeous Malibu property (that’s it, below) that just happens to be owned by Malibu plastic surgeon Dr. Darshan Shah. Located at 26508 Latigo Shore Dr, Malibu, CA, 90265, the home is for sale for $5,950,000.
