Rates Heading Downward on Monday; Current 30-Year Fixed Rate is 4.84%

After remaining steady around 4.9% for much of the past week, mortgage rates for 30-year fixed mortgages began to fall on Tuesday, with the current rate borrowers were quoted on Zillow Mortgage Marketplace at 4.84%.

Additionally, the 15-year fixed mortgage rate on Tuesday morning was 4.26% and the rate for 5/1 ARMs was 3.52%.
