Chamillionaire (“Ridin’ Dirty”) Forecloses on Houston Mansion

Earlier this year, actor Brian Austin Green entered a “strategic foreclosure,” and now it looks like rapper Chamillionaire (aka Hakeem Seriki) has done the same. Chamillionaire, known for his hit “Ridin’ Dirty,” “…decided to let that house go,” reported TMZ.

According to Swamplot, this is Chamillionaire’s home in The Woodlands and it’s listed for sale for $1.8 million, although its status is pending. Chamillionaire bought the 7,583 sq. foot home for $2.125 million in 2006. It is in the gated community of Carlton Woods and features five bedrooms, five and half baths, a game room, media room, and four-car garage.

Chamillionaire said he allowed the home to go into foreclosure because he was always on the road touring, plus, he felt it wasn’t good business to pay on a mortgage for a home “… I was never at.”

Paying over $2 million to live in The Woodlands is comical.

A move only a “chamillionaire” would make, as an actual millionaire would clearly understand that a fantastic 3,500 square foot house in that community can be had for well under $400,000.

I hope this is a recourse State and he gets a nice, fat 1099. Let him tell the IRS he doesn’t “feel” it’s good business to pay the taxes on the 1099.

The first poster is correct….I lived in The Woodlands for years and now you can get a 4000 sq ft home with a pool and spa for $400,000.00 or even less….there are “tons” of these that are on the market and empty…. this guy thought he was going to be the next P Diddy!

Obviously it’s the BANK’S fault he overpaid for this house. In our culture of entitlement, a dummy like this “artist”, OF COURSE it’s the bank’s fault. Maybe once the foreclosure is complete, Mr. Chamillionaire can bring a frivolous lawsuit against the bank for (a) allowing him to buy a house at an inflated price, and then (b) ruining his credit by reporting all his late payments. What a buffoon. And, indeed, “what is wrong with people?” I ask myself this every single day!

I think he should have done his homework before spending $2 million on a home. Why do celebrities feel like they have to get extravagant home when people forget about you in a relatively short time. He probably bought the house because it was $2 million so people could say hes a millionaire. If he wad really about business as he claims he would have done the research or paid someone to do the research for him. Lets hope he learned a lesson from this situation.

This is not the same commments I read for Brian Austin Green, what a bunch of bull commentary there totally race driven he tried the same stragedy but to no avail, but it’s was not a problem for Brian oh he’s a millionare …..The house the other guy listed 18 Knight Crossing 3714 Sq ft, his house 7583 Sq ft big difference doubled and the value is right $2 million thats before the bubble burst. Haters
