she’s smoking crack then, cuz you can buy something like that for about $10-15k per month. She doesn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of renting it for that price, unless she herself occupies the guest bedroom and offers to become “gf” of renter.

A quick search for buying a similarly beach villa in that area, show me a price range of $ 2.5 -3.5 million. Its cash back in 4-6 year for her, good business she do.

A bit expensive, but hey this gal isn’t only hot, she’s rich! She can afford it and she can do pretty much whatever she wants with her money. She earned it anyway. Surely she has her reasons and if she doesn’t intend to stay in the area for long, then it’s still a wise move considering her stature. She doesn’t have to purchase a property there if she plans to move some time soon anyway.

Celebrities can sometimes command a higher rate than just plain old rich people. I’m a big fan of her movies and though I don’t have the money, if I did, I would pay over the going rate to stay in her home.

Is the house made of gold? You can get a beach front property rental in Malibu for 12K-20K. She is using her fame, its ridiculous. She doesn’t need the money, and I find it appauling that she actually thinks she should get that price. You can get a luxury estate 2 minutes from the beach with pool and all the extras for 23K….its gross. Actors get paid so much, and then ask “regular” people to shell out cash.

Maybe she needs the cash right now. Guess the location does it.

The price is expected considering she is a celebrity. I think the honor of having rented or stay in the beach house of Charlize Theron is more than the price.
