Heat Stars Chris Bosh and LeBron James Land Homes in Miami

This season in the NBA, all eyes will be on Miami as the Heat loaded up with three superstar players who are expected to lock up the NBA Championship and perhaps more in years to come. Dwayne Wade re-signed with the Heat over the summer and then the team added two powerhouse free agents: Chris Bosh and LeBron James.

And, when athletes are on the move, that sets in motion all kinds of real estate needs. It looks like Bosh found his new pad in Miami Beach and James is down in Coconut Grove.

Chris Bosh

According to Miamism, Bosh bought a place on North Bay Road in Miami Beach. Here is the listing for Bosh’s new digs (photo above), which shows a list price of $15 million, but he reportedly landed the deal for $12.5 million. The 7-bedroom, 8-bathroom contemporary is stunning and oh-so-white with 20-foot ceilings, gourmet kitchen, gym, elevator and an infinity pool with unobstructed views of Biscayne Bay. Bosh also reportedly proposed to his fiancée, Adrienne Williams, in this house. The neighborhood has a number of celebs who live nearby, including Jennifer Lopez, Matt Damon and some members of the Bee Gees. Teammate Dwayne Wade is even considering buying a home in the area.

LeBron James

While Bosh is doing a slick, contemporary number up in Miami Beach, James has chosen this modest tri-level home in Coconut Grove, according to Jose Lambiet of Page2live.com. He was reportedly looking at a $50 million home back in July when he first signed with the Heat — and could probably easily afford it with his six-year, $110 million contract — but has apparently chosen a less glitzy path to home ownership in Coconut Grove. The home has 9,622 sq ft, and 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
