One Palo Alto Nabe to Avoid Tonight: Google’s Marissa Mayer Hosting Obama

Heads up residents of Addison Avenue in Palo Alto, CA: The relative star status of having Google’s Marissa Mayer as your neighbor will pale in comparison to having a president in your ‘hood. That’s right. Mayer is hosting President Obama for a Democratic fundraiser this evening at her Palo Alto home, according to Business Insider.

Security is sure to be at an all-time high as hundreds of Secret Service personnel, black limos, SUVs and support vehicles will descend on the neighborhood, which is to say nothing about people actually trying to attend the $30,000-per-person event.

Mayer’s 5,203-sq ft home has five bedrooms, 6.5 bathrooms and is in the swank neighborhood of University South in which the current Zillow Home Value Index is $1,035,600.

The President was here in Seattle yesterday and also visited a neighboring home. The entire city was at a complete stand still. Kind of fun to have the President visit your city but a few businesses missed out on a lot of revenue having to shut down their businesses while he was here.

i guess having the president in your town would be appealing for some, but really more of a burden for most like seriously in this day someone can spend 30k just for one night lmfao!!! wonder if any of those ppl would give me 30k i could surely use it more than whatever it was spent on.

You can’t be right, the home across from me is worth $400,000 and mine is bigger and better and only worth 250,000. Something you are doing is wrong our home should be worth more then our neighbors, perfect landscape, the home is inmaculate compared to others. Is it because I can aford to pay an extra $1000 or so on my princible everymonth. You people make no sense, how can a relator offer me $400,000 and I said no because I don’t want to move with my 2 acres. I think people better know you are hee just for the advertisement and not the cost of a person home.
