We have pets and laminate makes sense for our lifestyle. We are concerned about what it will do when and if we want to move on. We are considering putting laminate in the dining, living room and hall.

Laminate flooring is very popular and an excellent alternative to carpet for those that have pets. Depending on the style of your house, there will most likely be many potential buyers who will prefer the laminate to carpet – so long as it is of a tasteful style and good quality.
Laminate floor can be the great option for your house since it has the high durability and easy installation. I will recommend for you to choose the laminate floor if you have pet since the laminate floor is easy to clean than the carpet. You will not need to face the difficulty to clean the mess of your pet.
Laminate. No question. Carpet is much harder to keep clean, especially in areas like living rooms, hallways, and dining rooms. Carpet is usually preferred in bedrooms, but I will always recommend going with laminate or hardwood flooring in the living room.
Make sure that the use of laminate would be consistent with the price range of your home in your market. If it is then I’d say go ahead and use it.
Laminate seems a wiser choice, especially for cleaning purposes!
