Peyton Manning Buys Colorado Estate
The year got off to a rocky start for NFL superstar Peyton Manning, as he left his adopted home of Indianapolis after leading the Colts to nine consecutive playoff appearances and a Super Bowl title. Teams from the Nashville-based Titans to the Miami Dolphins reportedly had their eyes on the quarterback, but the free agent eventually landed in Denver, where he’ll don his familiar No. 18 this season as the new face of the Broncos.
It might have been a reluctant transition, but it now looks like the former MVP is officially ready to call the Mile High City home.
The 7-bedroom, 8.5-bathroom mansion sits on more than 3 acres and includes a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, main-floor master suite with two custom designed walk-in closets, wine cellar and a patio area with a built-in grill. There’s even a dog room with a heated indoor/outdoor kennel for the four-legged family members.
The home originally was listed for just under $5 million, but TMZ reports that Manning agreed to pay $4.575 million for his new digs.
