Report: Ricky Martin Sells Miami Home for $12.8M
The third time might be a charm for Puerto Rican crooner Ricky Martin, who has apparently sold another one of his amazing Miami Beach homes — although it appears Martin never actually lived in this oceanside beauty.
According to The Real Deal, Martin has sold his Mediterranean masterpiece at 641 Ocean Blvd, Golden Beach, FL 33160. The 8,600-square-foot mansion has 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen and an 108-foot private beach.
The $12.8 million sales price is a far cry from the $16.25 million Martin paid for the home in 2007, and far less than the $18.9 million list price he tacked onto the place back in December 2009.
In April, Martin sold a home at 5130 N Bay Rd, Miami, FL 33140 for $10.6 million. That was just $600,000 more than he paid for the 9,500-square-foot Mediterranean villa in 2005 and $6 million less than Martin sought when he first listed that property for $16.9 million in 2007.
Martin famously decamped from south Florida to New York for his starring role in the Broadway production of “Evita.” He has said he intends to stay in New York with his partner, Carlos Gonzalez Abella, and their twin sons.
