Seeing Double: 2 Former Allen Iverson Estates Hit the Market
Former NBA star Allen Iverson’s former homes are popping up all over the map. The bank recently listed a foreclosed Atlanta home belonging to the former All-Star, and now two homes Iverson previously owned in Pennsylvania are on the market — both for a whopping $2.9 million.
According to Curbed, 1432 Monk Rd, Gladwyne, PA 19035 was not only Iverson’s home in the early 2000s, but he also used it as a hideout after allegedly entering a West Philadelphia apartment and threatening two men with a handgun.
But run-ins with the law are not uncharacteristic of Iverson. Despite being one of the most prolific scorers in NBA history, he has served time behind bars — not to mention going through a messy divorce from his wife of eight-plus years, ending in a $3 million settlement.
Personal troubles haven’t kept Iverson from living a life of luxury, however. In 2006, he moved to a 9,782-square-foot mansion at 800 Chateau Ln, Villanova, PA 19085, shown above. With 6 bedrooms and 8 baths, the home is lavish from head to toe. Echoing ceilings, a massive walk-in closet, movie theater, pool and guesthouse are just some of the home’s amenities. Oh, and let’s not forget the 4 garages.
