‘Kardashians Take Miami’ Home Hits the Market
Although Kim Kardashian is reportedly house-shopping in Miami, she’s apparently not interested in buying the home she and Kourtney shared during the filming of “Kourtney and Kim Take Miami.”
The South Florida home occupied by the two Kardashian sisters during the show’s third season has hit the market for $14.5 million, listed by luxury agents “The Jills,” Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg of Coldwell Banker Previews.
“With the location and the extravagant detail that went into Palazzo di Mare, it is no surprise that this is the home Kourtney and Kim Kardashian selected to stay at while filming in Miami,” listing agent Jill Eber told The Real Deal.
When the Kardashians first headed to Florida, they tried to get a place rented in Miami Beach, however several neighbors firmly objected. To get filming permission for a single-family residence, production companies must get permission from all adjacent property owners, as well as 90 percent of the neighbors located within a 500-foot radius.
Unable to jump through the legal hoops, the Kardashians rented a place up north.
Even though they didn’t get their first pick in location, the sisters were hardly slumming it in North Miami. The 16,500-square-foot estate sits on 340 square feet of waterfront property and has 8 bedrooms, 11 baths and 3 half baths.
The Spanish-style estate also has a host of high-end amenities to please even the pickiest home buyer, including a garage with room for 11 cars, massage room, a billiard room, library and, of course, sun deck and pool.
