Dominick Dunne’s Former Summer Home for Sale Again in Connecticut
Gone are the “bordello-bold” colors that anchored all the walls, and stripped are the patterned wallpapers that filled the place with a parlor-like vibe, which apparently suited the celebrated journalist and novelist, who chronicled criminal cases, including the O.J. Simpson trial, for Vanity Fair.
The current owners, who have listed the home at 116 Ferry Rd, Hadlyme, CT 06371 for $1.477 million, went with a far more soothing palette of beiges and whites accented by ochre, rust and a smattering of pea green to adorn the 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom home that sits with views of Whalebone Cove near the Long Island Sound.
According to Curbed, the current owners bought the house for $925,000 after the Dunne estate had the property listed for $2.1 million.
