Chris Brown Relists Condo With Price Cut
The rumors of parties and unhappy neighbors surrounding this West Hollywood apartment are likely not helping its selling factor.
Chris Brown moved out of the so-called party pad last May. However, he left quite an impression on the other tenants of the building who claimed the sometimes controversial R&B singer parked in handicap spots, blared music and even raced dogs down the hallways — not exactly the kind of behavior expected in a building where most residents have paid more than $1 million for their homes.
Brown first listed the condo at 8265 Fountain Ave, Unit 401, West Hollywood, CA 90046 for $1.895 million, but after no buyers showed interest, the home was removed from the market until recently, when it showed back up with a new, lower price tag of $1.695 million.
The 3,100-square-foot condo has 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and occupies the entire top floor of the building. Floor-to-ceiling windows capture city views of Sunset and Santa Monica boulevards. An open floor plan is dominated by a spacious kitchen with quartz counters, stainless steel appliances and bamboo floors.
Brown currently lives in a modern, single-family home in Hollywood Hills, where he’s creating controversy again. The 24-year-old painted 8-foot-tall, brightly colored creatures in a graffiti-style along a retaining wall outside his home. One neighbor, who is head of the Hollywood Dell Civic Association, described the mural as “like devils on the wall” to the L.A. Times. City officials have ordered Brown to remove the art within 30 days or be fined a minimum of $376.
