Adam West’s ‘Bat Cave’ Listed

Source: IMDb

This bat cave isn’t located in the basement of Bruce Wayne’s mansion, but it once was the home of Adam West, who played Batman in the 1960s TV series and film.

The Palm Springs home just hit the market for $1.5 million. Located at 296 W Hermosa Pl, Palm Springs, CA 92262, the 1954-built home boasts classic mid-century modern features including walls of glass and open living spaces.

The 3,189-square-foot home has 3 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Despite the walls of glass, the home is private, situated behind a courtyard gate and vine-covered walls. The master suite has been expanded to 1,200 square feet of space and includes 2 marble bathrooms and a sitting room. In 2006, the home underwent another renovation, including upgrades to the pool, kitchen and patio.

West currently lives in Idaho but previously called Palm Springs home, as did many other stars from Hollywood’s golden age, including Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, Liberace and Dean Martin.

The listing is held by real estate agent David Epp of Bennion and Deville Fine Homes SoCal, Inc.

According to Zillow’s mortgage calculator, a monthly payment on the home would be $5,281, assuming a 20 percent down payment on a 30-year mortgage.
