Quiz: Are you Really Ready for a Mortgage?
By: Nate Moch, Zillow Product Team Lead, Mortgages | May 21, 2009
Zillow just released a new mortgage I.Q. quiz widget that lets borrowers test their knowledge of mortgage basics. The quiz is a fun way for home shoppers and people interested in refinancing to learn about general mortgage concepts. The widget explains the answers in detail and points users to additional resources where they can learn more about each topic.
This is the newest of Zillow’s collection of free widgets that are available for anyone to put on their blogs or Web sites to help educate consumers. Plus, it comes with free co-branding. This means that when visitors click the widget, your photo, contact info and link to your Web site appear at the top of the page.
Take the quiz and find out if you are a mortgage newbie or pro!

Sorry to post this on your blog…..BUT….as you have no “contact” link on the zillow site: I have no success in trying to register on zillow .com so I can edit my home info (which, BTW, is waaaay off). No matter what password I enter, it doesn’t work. Is this me or you site?????????????

Great tool! I’ll be sharing it with my real estate clients here in Washington, DC, — it looks like a fun, useful exercise for first-time buyers especially.

Empowerment through information is the best way to prevent homeowners from getting into mortgages that they can’t afford.
