Beatty & Bening Pull Switch by Listing Mulholland Dr. Estate

The rental market has proved bearish for Warren Beatty and Annette Bening, so they have decided to try and divest themselves of their 1-acre Mediterranean estate in the Beverly Hills real estate market.

That’s the news from our intrepid friends at The Real Estalker, who reported that the power couple’s 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom home with guest house is now being listed for sale for $6.995 million. The listing comes almost a year after Beatty and Bening attempted to rent the nearly 11,000-square-foot home, which started with a $27,500-a-month fee that took two price cuts before the last rental price of $19,995 per month.

The house was built in 1992 and offers a slew of privacy and all the space it takes to run a large family, which helped considering the Beatty-Benings raised their kids here. But with no takers, the home was listed for sale by agent Kurt Rappaport at Westside Estate Agency, who notes the home’s lawns, swimming pool, maid’s quarters, gym and views of Los Angeles.

According to The Real Estalker, the award-winning duo have moved back to their 6.7-acre compound down the road on Mulholland, where the main house was rebuilt after it suffered damage in the 1994 Northridge quake.
