Bernie Madoff’s Montauk Property Sells for $9.4 Million

By: Diane Tuman, Zillow Content Manager | October 21, 2009

Found amid today’s headlines that Ponzi-schemer Bernie Maddoff’s offices were “fueled by cocaine and topless women,” was the final selling price of Madoff’s Montauk property, which sold for $9.4 million. The asking price was $8,750,000, which means that at least one home in America has sold above list price. Or, perhaps, it was listed too low?

Listed too low… This is the feeling of every seller when they sell their house quick or over list price. Hopefully a little money for the people that got ripped off…

What a piece of trash! This house should be sold to provide food for the homeless (at a rock-bottom low price) and Bernie should be forced to spoon-feed every one of them!!
