Buy My Dump — Disgusting, if it’s Real

By: Diane Tuman, Zillow Content Manager | October 6, 2008

I’m not convinced that this is real, but there’s a site called “Buy My Dump” in which the owner needs to sell his Houston, TX investment rental property — not sure if it’s a condo, townhouse or house — but it was apparently trashed by his tenant and now the insurer won’t cover the damages the renter left behind. The owner has a mortgage he can’t pay, he can’t (won’t?) clean it to rent it again and wants to just walk away for whatever he can get. The place is allegedly worth $80,000 and there’s a bid in for $38,900 at this writing. Look at the photos — do you have a stomach to fix it up?

It says “I’m selling my trashed dirty apartment”.
