Celebs are coupling up and consolidating, which means they’re working hard to unload their respective bachelor and bachelorette pads. First, there was tennis pro Andy Roddick’s gorgeous Austin, TX bachelor home, which is now reduced to $3.6 million. More recently, supermodel Miranda Kerr is selling her single-girl pad in New York City after she and husband, Orlando Bloom have moved to L.A.
Curbed recently reported that Jared Kushner, a real estate developer and owner of The New York Observer, has put his desirable Greenwich Village condo loft on the market for $4.1 million — mainly so that he can buy a “together” place in New York with his wife, Ivanka Trump, whom he married in October 2009. Yes, that Trump — the daughter of Ivana and Donald Trump, who is a businesswomen in her own right, Donald or no Donald.
Kushner’s 2,042 sq ft condo loft is located close to NYU and is a south-facing, 2-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo with a home office/walk-in closet in “…one of the most sought after converted pre-war boutique loft buildings in downtown Manhattan.” Upgrades include a designer staircase and a one-of-a-kind arched window (see photo below). Other amenities include a fully wired surround-sound system, 2 wine coolers, 2 dishwashers, 2 upgraded steam showers, and wall-mounted flat screen TVs. The building is a Historic Landmark Property which features 24-hour doorman, health club and private storage for each unit.
Kushner purchased this home in spring of 2009 for $3.5 million.
