Christina Aguilera’s Manager Irving Azoff Drops $15.95 Million in Holmby Hills
Curious what $15.95 million buys you in prestigious Holmby Hills? For one of the most influential people in the music industry, it’s a gated contemporary villa with maid’s quarters on 1.5 park-like acres.
Irving Azoff, who now manages Christina Aguilera and the Eagles, has represented a long line of recording artists including Neil Diamond, Steely Dan and New Kids on the Block. He’s also served as CEO of Ticketmaster Entertainment and executive chairman of Live Nation Entertainment.
With this resume, it’s not surprising the music mogul has purchased 9,632 square feet in L.A.’s coveted “Platinum Triangle,” formed with the 90210 ZIP code to the east and Bel-Air up north. The property had been on and off the market since May 2011, last listed for $18.5 million. Azoff walked away with the home for $15.95 million in April.
With 7 bedrooms and 10 baths, a sleek modern kitchen, covered outdoor patio, full-sized gym, pool and spa, the home boasts all the amenities you’d expect in celebrity real estate. Azoff also owns another 7-bedroom home in Beverly Hills.
In 2008, the music manager made headlines when he dropped Jennifer Lopez as a client, allowing Marc Anthony to call the shots for the star. Since resigning as chairman of Live Nation in January, Azoff has continued to manage the artists he brought to the company.
