Dallas Cowboys’ Orlando Scandrick Lists Hollywood Hills Home
All eyes were on Dallas Cowboys cornerback Orlando Scandrick and his new love interest, former “Basketball Wives LA” star Draya Michele, at the 20th annual ESPY Awards in July. Now, all eyes are on his 3,353-square-foot Hollywood Hills crib that is fresh on the market for $2.85 million.
Scandrick bought the Hollywood Hills home for $2.1 million in January 2012, soon after his $27 million contract extension with the Dallas Cowboys. The L.A. Times reported on both the purchase and the new listing.
Built in 2009, the 4-bedroom 4-bath home is contemporary and elegant. The layout allows for an abundance of natural light, with large windows and white walls throughout.
The large kitchen area follows the sleek design scheme, complete with an island bar for entertaining guests. The kitchen faces a row of retractable glass walls — perhaps the most swoon-worthy feature of the house — which lead to an expansive balcony.
The modern home has several romantic amenities, including a top-floor master bedroom with a dressing area and private bathroom. In addition, the balcony leads to a sunken spa that allows for a panorama of the canyon, Griffith Observatory and the city skyline.
