CORRECTION 5/23/13: An earlier version of this post misidentified Danny Bonaduce as the current owner of the home.
After a few years as a for-sale listing, Danny Bonaduce’s former Los Feliz home has changed to a for-rent listing — currently offered at $18,000 a month. The ginger-haired “Partridge Family” star turned radio host bought the home with his former wife, Gretchen, back in 2005.
The home served as the setting for the reality-TV show “Breaking Bonaduce.” Following the end of the show and the breakup of his marriage, Bonaduce left for Philadelphia, where he had a stint as a radio DJ. Currently, Bonaduce lives in Seattle, where he hosts a morning show on a classic rock station.
The Los Feliz residence, located at 4039 Cromwell Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90027, is situated on a street popular with A-listers. Katy Perry and Russell Brand’s former home was also on Cromwell, and “Frasier” star David Hyde Pierce once had a home on Cromwell as well.
Like those stars’ homes and most of the houses on the street, the property is gated and private. Built in 1926, the home sits on a promontory with views of downtown from many balconies and patios. The grounds are designed for indoor-outdoor living, with a “resort-style” pool, alfresco dining area and gardens.
Inside, the 5-bedroom home includes a “chef’s kitchen,” library with fireplace, movie theater with rotunda seating and a nautical-themed bar.
The listing is held by Jeneen Oh of Sotheby’s International Realty.
