Cher Buys Beverly Hills Home for $2.145 Million
After a stint performing in Las Vegas, Cher is back to Southern California, choosing to settle in Beverly Hills. The music legend recently purchased a traditional, two-story home in the 90210 ZIP code for $2.145 million, according to property records. The home was last owned by Ed O’Neil.
Like most celebrities, Cher bought the home under a trust — the same trust she used to buy a Malibu home that her half-sister reportedly lives in, and that her Venice home was held under. She sold the Venice home in 2013 for $1.95 million.
Cher’s new Beverly Hills property is relatively small compared with the other homes she owns. Measuring 3,089 square feet, the 4-bedroom home sits at the end of a private drive, nestled against the canyon walls. Secure and private, the home has white walls with dark, exposed wood beams, light-filled living spaces and an updated eat-in kitchen with high-end appliances. The master suite has 2 fireplaces, a bath with double showers and an enormous closet with a center island for additional storage.
The property is over just half an acre, with a patio and courtyard off the living room and kitchen, and a lush, landscaped backyard with a waterfall and meditation space.
Cher just released her first single in 10 years, “Woman’s World,” and her upcoming album “Closer to the Truth” is expected to drop this fall.
