We last heard about Diane Keaton’s Spanish Colonial Revival, located in Beverly Hills, CA, when it went on the market for a second time this past June for $10,950,000 – a 15.4% price reduction. Keaton originally purchased the home in 2007 for $8.1 million. Exercising her passion for real estate preservation, she flipped the interior and then listed the 8,434-sq ft home for $12,995,000 in March of 2009 (60.4% price increase from purchased price).

The beautifully restored 1927, courtyard-style house caught the ‘Glee’-ful eye of FOX hit series creator, Ryan Murphy (photo, right). According to the Los Angeles Times, Murphy purchased the Beverly Hills pad just last month for an undisclosed amount.

Featured in Architectural Digest, Murphy’s new abode a-la Keaton, covers almost a half-acre and features 7 bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, 6 fireplaces, a media room, and library. The arched passages lead to a gorgeous yard and outdoor swimming pool.

Purchased in 2007 for $9.1 million, Keaton put some serious elbow grease into the restoration of this 1-acre compound. After two years of work, Keaton listed her Pacific Palisades home for $8.5 million in April 2010 at a 6.6% loss. The Los Angeles Times reports, however, that the property was soon taken off the market, expanded to include over 2.5-acres and re-listed for $13,250,000 in June.

Falling almost in sync with her Beverly Hills sale, the Lloyd Wright-designed house found a new owner last month for $10,750,000, according to Curbed LA. The beautiful property includes a 4,386-sq ft, mid-century main home, two detached bedroom suites and a gorgeous outdoor swimming pool.
