Michael Jordan, considered to be the best basketball player who ever lived, is in the process of building a mega-mansion (above) in the select Jupiter, FL gated community of The Bears Club, a development created in 1999 by someone who many consider to be golf’s greatest player, Jack Nicklaus. What an appropriate fit.

According to Cary Lichtenstein, a Realtor for Christies Great Estates, Jordan’s 3-acre home measures 28,000 sq ft and includes three separate structures: a guard house, guest house and pool house. Plus, the great one will be further hidden behind a wall of trees. Jordan reportedly purchased multiple lots for $4.8 million (below). Combined with construction and furnishings, Lichtenstein claims this estate will run Jordan northward of $20 million, making it the “… most expensive non-waterfront home in the Palm Beaches.”
