Ricky Watters and his wife, Catherina, have been very busy people since the NFL running back’s retirement more than a decade ago.

They’re raising their aspiring musician/rapper/poet, Ricky Amir, and they adopted a second son from Korea. They run a law firm where attorney Catherina Watters handles entertainment and other civil cases while pitchman Ricky drums up clients. They are also advocates for at-risk kids and other children’s issues, including adoption.

Watters, a football star from Harrisburg, PA, who went on to Notre Dame and a 10,000-yard rushing career as a pro, was himself adopted. (He has a new book on adoption’s impact on his life due out soon.)

Watters’ most famous quote came in 1995 during his first game with the Philadelphia  Eagles. When asked why he didn’t extend his body to make a catch over the middle, the fiery RB said, ” For who? For what? He later used it as the title for his bio.

And in between all of this, the Watterses are still trying to sell their home in the exclusive Isleworth section of Windermere, FL. The 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom home at 6263 Cypress Chase Dr, Windermere, FL 34786 is set on an expansive 1.6 acres at the end of a cul-de-sac.

The sale price is now listed at $1.849 million. This is less than the $1.925 million the Watterses paid for the home in 2004 and a monster drop from the $3.390 million they were seeking in 2007.

When the property does sell, the new owners will get themselves a piece of central Florida’s premier  communities. Isleworth is where many star athletes flocked over the years, including Tiger Woods, Ken Griffey Jr. and Shaquille O’Neal, though some of those stars have gone on to build their dream homes in other locales.
