Unlike Donovan McNabb, whose ouster from Philadelphia has failed to land the QB in a new place he wants to call home — or with an NFL team that thinks he can play anymore — Danny Bonaduce has flown the Philly coop and quickly come to appreciate his new town. And vice versa, given the welcome Bonaduce has been given by fans all over Seattle.

Bonaduce has been seen everywhere, beaming and extolling the virtues of his new city.

“God was in a good mood when it was time to create Seattle,” Bonaduce said, when looking out over Seattle’s landscape, with Mount Rainier looming in the background.

Now the gravelly-voiced talk-a-holic and new host of Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK’s morning drive show hopes he can find a Seattle home to equal his Seattle gig. The former child star of “The Partridge Family” has been out looking at homes in some of the Emerald City’s best nabes, according to Sam DeBord, a Realtor® and managing broker with and Coldwell Banker Danforth.

Last month, DeBord was showing Bonaduce and his wife, Amy, “view properties in Magnolia, Queen Anne, Leschi, and downtown” where the “sweeping water, city, and mountain views have clearly locked the new residents into finding a view home so that they can enjoy their new home city.  Who can blame them?”

DeBord said that after a lot of searching, Danny and Amy do have an apartment now.

“The tight inventory of rentals was really evident, there were almost zero large penthouses available downtown. There’s a potential for buying down the road, but getting their other real estate sales cleared up with the first priority,” DeBord said.

There’s good news on that front, too. The Bonaduces’ Philadelphia home listed for sale has already settled.

“The property, 45 Strawberry Street in the Old City neighborhood, sold for $435,000 to a local individual who owns a forensic accounting firm,” said Philadelphia real estate agent Frank L. DeFazio Esq.

That means Seattle’s newest fast-talking celebrity is free and clear to move about the Seattle real estate market, where view properties come with a lordly premium, as Bonaduce has said.
