I have a dog, so I try to find/buy homes that have fences. Not that they can’t be installed later, but it’s a nice-to-have. What do you think?

Zillow WAY underprices my home by not including all sales of houses in my neighborhood (one down the street just sold for $700k), by not knowing anything about the huge differences in construction quality in my neighborhood, by not taking views and proximity to the ocean into account, and by using the county’s incorrect square footage. I think a class action lawsuit may be in order.

Good fences make good neighbors, the only thing better being a good wall.

Most of my buyers require their back yard be fenced (about 99% of them).

In the North Lake Tahoe markets it appears that fences and landscaping add little value compared to cost. This is most likely due to the fact that this is primarily a second home market and factors that effect the value of a second home are often different then those of a primary residence. In my opinion a fenced yard or landscaped yard will add to the marketability of a home but not necessarily add value.

For me a fence are a wall is a huge thing for me and all places should have some form security, and that what for me is having that fence all wall. I do think that it has added value on a house

Zillow you better not keep the price you have listed for my house. you know nothing about it. I will file a law suit against you if you do not change it. How dare you meddle in my business. I already have proof that you stopped a sale for us. You need to be stopped.
If you don’t know what you are doing don’t do it. You must send people to make sure you know what you are putting up on a web site. You don’t know what you are doing.
When We find you and we will you will meet our lawyer. Don’t think you are bigger then us either. My daughter is a lawyer.

Unless I’m in a large open field with no neighbors a fence is essential. The privacy and sense of security (maybe fales) it provides s part of my well being as a homeowner. Whether it adds value not sure but it sure allows me to sit peacefully and sip coffe with my dog and not feel intruded upon. For insurance purposes it helps to distinguish property rights should claims arise
