Is Jennifer Aniston moving to the East Coast? Or, perhaps adding a New York home to her property portfolio? While nothing has been confirmed, the LA-based mega-star was recently spotted touring a luxurious, tri-level penthouse in New York’s prestigious neighborhood of Greenwich Village.

According to the New York Post, Aniston checked out an 1,800 sq ft co-op unit that occupies the top three floors of the building. There are 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, an office, library, chef’s kitchen, double-height living room, 2 terraces, and a 40-ft high atrium, all topped off by a beautifully constructed rooftop garden that offers panoramic city, river and park views. Each level of this penthouse is accessible via private, keyed elevator. First listed for $12,995,000 in 2008, the unit has seen two price cuts over the past two years, finally arriving at the current list price of $8,750,000.

Ms. Aniston, best known for her role as Rachel in the award-winning sitcom “Friends,” was born and raised in Los Angeles. Public records show Aniston’s Hollywood Hills home was her first real estate purchase. She scooped up the 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom property for $742,500 in 1995. A few years and lucrative silver-screen projects later, Aniston kicked her West Coast real estate game up a notch and purchased a home with a coveted 90210 ZIP code. Aniston’s Beverly Hills home boasts 6 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and more than 9,000-sq ft of living space.
