Football fans were shocked and saddened in May when retired NFL linebacker Junior Seau was found dead in his Oceanside, CA home. It was later determined that the former San Diego Charger, Miami Dolphin and New England Patriot had committed suicide at age 43.

Less than three months after his death, Seau’s home is now listed for $2.295 million in the San Diego real estate market.

Seau purchased the home at 604 S The Strand, Oceanside, CA 92054 for $3.2 million in 2005. The 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath sits on a lot overlooking the ocean, which can be enjoyed from a massive outdoor balcony and the spacious great room.

Inside, the 2,238-square-foot home has hardwood floors throughout, a fireplace and antique stove in the kitchen.

The home is listed by John Beran of ERA Ranch & Sea Realty.
