Singer/songwriter Lisa Marie Presley, whose birthright is as the only child of rock ‘n roll’s most famous performer, Elvis, has listed her Hidden Hills, CA home for $8,995,000.

According to Realestalker, Presley is relocating to London with fourth husband Michael Lockwood (previous husbands include Danny Keough, Nicolas Cage, and Michael Jackson).

According to public records, Presley purchased the home in 1993 for $2.6 million. It has 8,000 sq ft of living space, 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, and sits on 3.14 acres. There are also separate guest quarters (where Keough reportedly lives with two of their four children, according to Realestalker) and a free-form pool, spa and waterfall.

We checked it out. It’s not too overwhelming, considering it has 8,000 sq. ft. Some folks don’t like the woodbeams in the house, but we don’t mind them. Kitchen needs updating though–those cabinets need to go!

Seems a little over priced with a $5mm house that is 12,000 just down the road. I guess the 3 acres has a lot to do with the extra money.

I think the price on this house is based on its value. As they bought it on the 90’s the value of the money is different now. This also based on its good position and place. Also the layout of its interior.

Even after you adjust for inflation that is a pretty big profit. I wonder how the real estate marketing in LA is going to affect this sale.
