One of Miami Beach’s special high-end penthouse properties is on the market and it’s an amazingly beautiful piece of real estate. Netscape founder Jim Clark’s Setai penthouse is on the market for $27 million. According to South Beach real estate agent Kevin Tomlinson, Clark’s property, is the “… mack daddy of Setai South Beach.”

Setai South Beach is one of those luxury mashups of resort/hotel/condo and it appears Clark occupied the finest piece of it — penthouse #1, which has an abundance of windows to take in the Miami Beach coastline. Even the shower is sided by a window (photo below), so buyer beware!

Clark’s penthouse is infused with custom Thai design and decor — it’s almost like living in your own Thai museum with works of art, sculptures and busts throughout. While the penthouse measures just over 6,000 sq ft, there are only three bedrooms and two and one-half baths.

wow.. now I really wish I had 27M

  • DOWD

rare is it I’d piss away 27m on a pad but I do have to admit this is one bad ass pad. tastefully done unlike one a saw up in new york that some right wing talking blow hole is trying to unload.

    This pad just oozes cool….
I’d turn that office into my studio and paint naked women by day and crank up my guitar by night!!

    hell yeah!

I’ll pass. Looks like a banquet hall. Which room for the Jackson wedding reception? I’ll pass on Limbaugh’s plush digs in NYC too. Like him, I’m tired of all my cash going to excessive taxes to pay for all of society’s parasites.

Beautiful home but 6,000 sq ft and only three bedrooms. Thats a lot of house and not a lot of privacy. $27 million seems a bit much!

    Gorgeous but Miami?

  • Nick

Ridiculously priced for the size, but I would not complain. Waking up every morning with that kind of view would be absolutely amazing.

  • Bob Stahl

Love the view but not sure that I would pay $27 Million
    for a 3 bedroom house.

I visited my friend in South Florida and we drove by this high rise when we were in Miami. The views are spectacular. I could only imagine what it must be like to have this kind of money. I find it very high priced for a penthouse. You don’t even own the whole property. I know of office buildings that go for less… good luck selling it Mr. Clark…

I love this apartment but would have to agree with Bob $27 million is a lot for an apartment, even if I had that kind of money to spend on a home I could think of better places to live for half that price. Good luck Jim Hope you sell it for what its worth.

great house, great view, great money…

Apartment, meaning condo? The buyer was not too bright to have bought this place himself, but I have to admit, it’s absolutely breathtaking. Sadly, who would want to pay those condo fees?! I bet they’re probably thousands of dollars a month. What’s the point of being wealthy, if you get robbed by your condo association every month? Good luck unloading it, dude.
