Milestone EZ Ads

Six weeks into the life of EZ Ads, we’ve hit some milestones we hadn’t anticipated reaching so soon. Last week the 2,000th advertiser signed up, and this week the 3,000th EZ Ad was purchased! We thought we’d take this opportunity to tell you a bit about our advertisers thus far.
Real estate agents and brokers have bought almost 70% of the ads so far – advertising both listings & their services. The remainder of ads span a wide range of local advertisers including mortgage brokers, loan officers, for-sale-by-owner sellers, appraisers, home improvement, home inspections, insurance, escrow, home staging, hot tub dealers, painting services, wiring companies, roof repair, attorneys, local coupons, local blogs, inns, garden shops, satellite dish suppliers, computer companies, and even resume-support. Spend has ranged from the $10 minimum to several thousand dollars per advertiser. Large national advertisers are asking about EZ Ads feeds so they can buy in bulk for their local offices.
We’re delighted with the uptake and thank everyone who’s tested out the service so far. If you’ve already purchased an EZ Ad, we’d love to hear feedback on how your ads are working for you. If you haven’t– what are you waiting for?!

I love EZads. I’ll admit, I had mixed success with the ads, but came away with a good feeling from them, and will be adding more soon. The ads that produced the best results were ones that I used a particular listing of mine (especially the lakefront homes). I used a pic of the house, and used the headline “Lakefront Property,” or whatever. These resulted in approx $.40/click, in relation to my ugly mug that came in around $1/click. I’ve started using them as a listing tool, and share the results with my clients.
