The Obama Administration yesterday reported on the progress of the “Making Home Affordable,” a program aimed at at-risk homeowners who are underwater or unable to keep up with their mortgage. The results were encouraging and hopeful. Also announced were two additions to the plan designed for homeowners that either do not qualify for a Home Affordable Modification or live in an area where prices have dropped so steeply that banks are not willing to do a modification.
More details on these changes can be found on the Home Affordable Report Card and Additional Modifications blog post.
