Most Popular Living Spaces on Zillow’s Dueling Digs
By: Sarah Mann, Zillow Senior PR Specialist | May 29, 2008
Apparently, many of our Dueling Digs players are drawn to the Pacific ocean, with 8 of the 10 most popular living spaces located on the west coast, many with ocean views. But really, who can blame them? Who wouldn’t want to sit and relax, perhaps read a good book, looking out at the water in your Honolulu, HI home? Or perhaps have a few friends over in Bellevue, WA to catch up, letting them admire both your amazing view, as well as your incredibly dynamic architecture. I for one, wouldn’t mind.
To keep things interesting, this week the most popular homes count down from number 10. Enjoy!
10. Mulholland Dr, Los Angeles CA
8. Marine View Dr SW, Seattle WA
7. Spanish Heights Dr, Las Vegas NV
5. 81st Ave SE, Mercer Island WA (For Sale: $1,325,000)
2. Moaniala St, Honolulu HI (For Sale: $3,580,000)

I see a common theme among these homes: Lots of open spaces (no walls) and 6 of the 10 images have water views. Pretty sweet.

Yes…#1 and #2 are the best. I personally love the gig harbor area of washington state. The state of Washington is doing very well for us right now

Really I believe Zillow is biased because they are in fact on the “west coast”…living is not all that great on this coast many many have no $$$$.
Also Zillow does not indicate the proper population democraphics in most “other” areas on the country. I suggest that Zillow have reps in every corner of US prior to writing stuff that is either out of date or just simply not true.
