Got to love the frugality that appears to have defined Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice’s first few years in the NFL. Just look at his crib. Or was Rice’s home more like a “crib-ette?”

HIs starter home is on the market now that Rice has become a $40 million man via a summertime contract extension with Charm CIty’s gridiron ballers.

Rice is seeking $339,900 for his condo at 103 Old House Ct #103, Baltimore, MD 21208, just inches under his 2008 purchase price of $350,000. (Home values in Pikesville are down almost 6 percent over the past year.)

While one of the doors inside Rice’s 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom home has a “Man Cave” sign posted, there’s no doubt the diminutive 5-year veteran took a ton of ribbing from some of his fat-cat Ravens teammates. It’s hard to imagine Ray Lewis agreeing to party in the 2,100-square-foot confines of Rice’s art-less abode, or the Ravens’ O-line squeezing onto the deck for a little postgame revelry.

Other big-time Baltimore athletes such as Orioles’ Hall of Famer Cal Ripken Jr. have chosen elaborate spreads in outlying areas of Baltimore County like Owings Mills or Cockeysville, and maybe Rice has already moved on to more slick city markets like Canton or Fells Point, where Olympic swimming great Michael Phelps owns a condo that is reportedly still for sale. (Lewis lives near Ripken on a 28-acre spread in the Reisterstown area.)

Wherever the NFL’s new high roller lands, the big question in sports-crazy Baltimore is whether Rice will bring along the dorm-style refrigerator he had stashed in the master bath of the condo.

Baltimore Ravens fans have gotten a kick out of Ray Rice's master bath mini-fridge.
