Former Seattle Mariners’ right fielder Jay Buhner’s home is back on the Fall City real estate market with another price cut. Similar to Mariners game tickets, Buhner’s home is having a hard time selling.

Located about a 40-minute drive from Safeco Field in downtown Seattle, the former M’s and “Bad to the Bone” player purchased his home in 1996 — at the height of the Mariners’ success — for $1,327,375 and built the home in 2000. In 2008, Buhner listed his home for $12 million, right as home values began to drop. He then re-listed the home a short while later for $9,999,000, and then chopped the price again to $7,995,000. The house fell of the market in the beginning of this year and was re-listed in mid-May for its current price of $6.75 million. That’s almost a 50 percent cut from Buhner’s first asking price.

Fall City home values peaked in April 2007 at $525,000 and are currently at 374,000.

Buhner’s home, named B2B Ranch (presumably for his “Bad to the Bone” moniker), sits on 80 private, wooded acres. The 7,500-square-foot home has 4 bedrooms and 6.25 bathrooms. The home has traditional Northwest-style architecture complete with natural stone and timber framing, open floor plan, high ceilings and copper roof.

A great room with stone fireplace and wall of windows opens to the outside. En-suite bedrooms, workout room, pool and covered driveway entrance are also included on the property, as well as an outdoor facility and equestrian barn.

A 2,200-square-foot guest house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an extra 1,000 square feet of recreation space.

The listing is held by agent Jen Harper of Infused Real Estate.
