Nantucket “Absolute Auction” Beauty Goes for $4,850,000!
By: Diane Tuman, Zillow Content Manager | July 14, 2009
According to Nantucket_Sully (aka Brian Sullivan of Sotheby’s International), the “Nantucket Beauty” that was sold in an absolute auction today went for $4,850,000, plus a 7.5% buyers fee for a total of $5,213,750.
Owner Paul Steinfurth, who I called crazy like a fox, bought the property in 2004 for $5.4 million. So, he took a loss, but I’ll bet he’s happy to unload it. What do you think? Good move on Steinfurth’s part?

Just for the sake of clarity this property was marketed , auctioned and sold by Grand Estates Auction company out of Charlotte North Carolina.
Sotheby’s International had nothing to do with this sale.
