Naya Rivera is used to playing characters with dual roles: one minute a Cheerios squad member, the next a singing and dancing glee-club star. In real life, the “Glee” actress is playing a house flipper turned homeowner.
Despite losing the famed 90210 ZIP code, her new digs are a definite upgrade, measuring 4,158 square feet instead of 3,300. She’s also getting a fifth bedroom and 4 full bathrooms.
According to the listing description, the 1938 estate has been restored to “retain the charm and character of its original design, while meeting all the needs of a modern family.” The 26-year-old doesn’t have a family of her own, although she does have real estate in her extended family: her mom is the listing agent currently handling the sale of Rivera’s Beverly Hills home.
Rivera’s new digs provide East-Coast style with West-Coast amenities, including a wet bar, wine room, pool and spa. The master bath is also a notable feature of the home with a sparkling chandelier framing a claw-foot bathtub. The Latina actress can look forward to relaxing bubble baths after dedicating her time to various charities, in addition to upcoming seasons of “Glee.”
The Los Feliz house last sold for $1 million in April 2012. It was on the market for a little over three months before Rivera made her offer.
While more than the median Los Feliz home value, $2.6 million is not an unbelievable price to pay — especially when Katherine Heigl just sold her Los Feliz home for $2.622 million.
